Happy Fall Planting 🪴 🍂🌾🧄
lets make urban gardening more accessible through practical horticulture, ecological growing practices, and shared communal understanding
We’re just waiting on confirmation for the space, but Sunday is looking like the best day for our first meeting, sometime in early November.
We’ll spend some time getting to know each other, talking about winter sowing and fall planting, and sharing some light refreshments.
More details to come once the space is confirmed!
Help us build opportunities for local growers to connect. Get involved with community planting projects, plant swaps, educational workshops, seed starting, propagation, or other activities as they develop. Have an idea for something you'd like to see happen? Bring it to the group.
Who we are:
We’re a local garden club coming together through plants, green spaces ideas, and a shared appreciation for growing and cultivation. We’re here to get our hands dirty, exchange ideas, and make a little more room for nature in our everyday lives.
Our mission is to make horticulture more accessible, practical, and ecologically minded in urban spaces. Through shared knowledge, hands-on learning, and community engagement, we explore ways to grow in small spaces, build healthy soil, reduce reliance on chemical inputs, and bring more biodiversity into the places we live.
We aim to connect over our shared skills and resources constantly.
I propose meeting every other Sunday from a time between 2–6 PM to share knowledge, discuss horticultural and ecological, and DIY topics, plan our own or community projects, and connect over a shared interest in growing.
Meetings may include seasonal discussions, hands-on workshops, guest speakers, volunteer planning, and opportunities to get involved in local environmental initiatives.
Getting outside, exploring local spots, and learning a little more about the places around us. From nature walks and watershed visits to checking out local green spaces and the occasional outdoor event, it’s a chance to explore, see something new, and spend some time outside.
From tending shared green spaces to supporting local conservation efforts, we are looking to get involved where horticulture and the environment meet.
